Making your way around Global Heroes is pretty easy and is designed to bring you to interactive quizzes, fascinating ideas and international web links with the click of a mouse.

Link: Trailblazer
This is the starting point for everything on the site. Select a Hero or story to follow and go from there. The secondary level stories are designed for high school, have more background information and more opportunities to link up to other sites throughout the world wide web. The elementary level stories are designed for grades 5 and 6 and have more quizzes and interactive trails. Those of you in grades 7 and 8 can try both!

Link: It's your planet
How global issues affect you.

Link: Links to the world
A detailed list of other web sites in related areas. Good for projects.

Link: What's new
Global Heroes is monitored and updated on a weekly basis. What's New highlights recent changes and additions.

TEACHERS:

Staff Room: Global Heroes has been designed for cross-curricular use in and out of the classroom. The staff room will help teachers maximize the value of the site for their students. Lesson plans associated with each trail blazer, a library page offering annotated resource listings, and a feedback page where teachers and librarians can send their comments or questions to Global Heroes are all located in the staff room.
