Canadian Peacekeeping - Teaching Units
Canadian Peacekeeping is a five lesson unit developed by the Media
Awareness Network
and the Canadian
Centre for Foreign Policy Developmen
t. The purpose of this joint venture was
to provide teachers with current materials to enhance the teaching of peacekeeping
in the classroom. The goal of this teaching unit is to encourage teachers and
students to examine Canada’s role in peacekeeping, and to analyze the media’s
