A small business consultant helps entrepreneurs develop strategies and come up
with solutions to encourage their businesses to grow. They can also help people who
want to start a business in the early stages of planning and organization.
Often, these consultants have gained experience by running their own small businesses.
Description
Small business consultants work with new and developing businesses to
- focus and define their goals
- develop marketing plans (who is the product or service for, and how can you best
reach these customers)
- decide what resources are needed and organize these resources
- set up decision making and problem solving processes
- create strategies to implement these plans
