Importance of the tourism
Nature tourism or at least tourism that uses the outdoors - creates
an economic link between the different demands for the land and
wildlife or the natural environment.
In Costa Rica it's a success. tourism represents the most important
foreign income earner. It surpasses the export of coffee and bananas.
It's an industry catering to outdoor experiences that is dependent
on preserving nature.
