Skytrek
While
the rainforests are beautiful, the most biologically rich areas
are above our heads in the forest canopy.
A number of Costa Rican businesses are helping tourist reach
it through suspended walks, tram rides and zip lines.
At Skytrek, only a short distance from the monteverde Cloud forest,
tourists can put on a climbers belt, attached themselves to a
wire cable and zip along from platform to platform above and through
the canopy. Two of the zip lines are more than 700 feet long and
more than 300 feet in the air.
